About The Position

The Assistant Property Manager will work at two multi-family apartment communities totaling 107 units. This role involves administrative, operational, financial, and resident experience responsibilities. The position requires a professional and courteous approach, the ability to resolve issues, and a commitment to reducing tenant turnover. The role also involves advertising and promoting the property, managing leads, conducting tours, completing the lease process, ensuring compliance with renter's insurance, maintaining occupancy, collecting rent, and assisting the Property Manager with delinquency and vendor invoices. Additionally, the Assistant Property Manager will conduct quality assurance calls and facilitate resident events.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in multi-family property management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, engage in cost/benefit analytical decision-making, and ambition for continuous professional development

  • Yardi Voyager and CRM experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
  • Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
  • Attend training and development seminars
  • Advertise and promote the property
  • Utilize industry specific software for lead management
  • Provide tours to prospective and current residents
  • Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
  • Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance
  • Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
  • Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
  • Assist Property Manager with delinquency process
  • Assist Property Manager with processing vendor invoices
  • Engage with prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
  • Navigate priority changes to respond to and resolve unforeseen issues or emergencies
  • Reduce tenant turnover by identifying tenant relation issues, mediating between parties, and recommending solutions
  • Complete quality assurance calls following up on completed work orders
  • Facilitate resident events
