About The Position

Monarch Investment, a leading multifamily owner, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join their team at the Ridge at Chestnut Apartments in Kansas City, MO. This role supports the Property Manager in all on-site operations, focusing on tenant retention, resident relations, leasing, and marketing to ensure the property is leased at or above market occupancy at proper rent levels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in multifamily housing industry
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Customer service experience required
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, drug screening, and credit review

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an Assistant Property Manager position preferred
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Property Manager with all on-site property operations
  • Ensure tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a resident relations program
  • Ensures property is leased at or above market occupancy at proper rent levels by showing and leasing apartments
  • Assists Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate and at its greatest effect
