About The Position

As an Assistant Property Manager, Self-Storage you will assist with ensuring that the property meets or exceeds the expectations of the owners, tenants, vendors, and all customers. You will maintain open communication to keep the manager apprised of any property issues. Responsibilities include opening the office and inspecting the property as scheduled, assisting in generating and increasing monthly and annual income, completing outreach marketing, and coordinating a plan with the site manager to maximize effectiveness of visits, calls, emails, etc. You will also assist in developing a Marketing Action Plan with strategies to meet or exceed budgeted income, occupancy, expense, and leasing goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with strong orientation for customer service required.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, organizational skills and other administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a demanding environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Self-motivated and willing to work independently with ability to adhere to strict timelines and schedules, often with competing deadlines.
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Must be able to pass a drug test, credit check, driving record, criminal history, and background checks prior to employment with Sterling Management Ltd.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year office or sales experience preferred.
  • SiteLink knowledge is a plus.
