About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Dallas Data Center team. This is a full-time site-based role supporting the delivery of large-scale mission critical construction projects. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, contractors and client stakeholders, you will help deliver projects from preconstruction through closeout while developing your project management career.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work full-time on site in the Dallas area.

Nice To Haves

  • Mission critical or data center experience preferred.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or MS Project is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Maintain a full-time on-site presence supporting daily construction activities.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants and client stakeholders.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
  • Attend coordination meetings and drive actions to completion.
  • Perform regular site walks to monitor progress, quality and safety.
  • Support schedule, cost, risk and issue management.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and meeting minutes.
  • Support procurement, commissioning, punch list management and project turnover.
  • Build strong client relationships and represent Turner & Townsend professionally.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
