About The Position

Ehvert Mission Critical, a business unit within Salas O’Brien, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for a long-term independent contractor engagement supporting complex data center design projects. The engagement is ongoing and is not limited to a single project. Work involves continuous resource allocation and workforce management across multiple mission-critical projects, according to business needs. The contractor will provide services as a self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement governed by Texas law. The role supports planning, coordination, and delivery of data center design projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Design Leads, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, the Assistant Project Manager helps organize project activities, track progress, coordinate communication, and keep tasks and deliverables on schedule. The work primarily involves project management assistance, design team coordination, and technical documentation control rather than hands-on engineering design. The position is remote in Ukraine. The company describes opportunities to contribute to hyperscale and AI data center projects, collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams, and gain exposure to international engineering projects and advanced design coordination processes. The engagement offers a competitive hourly rate, remote collaboration, and English classes. This is an independent contractor engagement, so the contractor is not eligible for employee benefits; the company will not withhold taxes, provide insurance, or contribute to social security or pension programs.
