About The Position

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with estimating experience for a full-time opportunity with a well-established electrical company based in Enfield, Connecticut. This role supports commercial electrical projects throughout Connecticut and is suited to someone with an electrical construction background looking to advance their career. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with project managers, field personnel, and other team members to help projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Estimating experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
• Must successfully complete a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in electrical construction is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Estimator, or in a similar role is preferred.
• An electrical license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and coordinating commercial electrical projects throughout Connecticut.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.
• Assist with estimating, preparing bids, and reviewing project costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Help track project progress, materials, labor, and expenses.
• Maintain communication with customers and project stakeholders.
• Provide general project management support to help complete projects on time and within budget.
