About The Position

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Arvada, Colorado. The role supports Project Management staff in servicing clients and advancing the Client Service Organization mission. The Assistant Project Manager coordinates project setup, sample receipt, reporting, and invoicing activities while helping ensure client requirements and project deadlines are met. The position includes full-time work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The stated compensation range is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Requirements

Associate degree, or four years of client-relationship or client-service experience in place of the degree.
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, computer, and scientific skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, maintain a professional demeanor with clients, and resolve day-to-day problems.
Client-service skills, including understanding client needs, keeping clients informed, following up, and responding to feedback.

Nice To Haves

Science degree.
Zero to three years of business experience.
Knowledge of Eurofins products, testing capabilities, technology, production, support systems, program specifications, and laboratory procedures.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and work acceptance policy.
Knowledge of process improvement methods.
Knowledge of laboratory methods and techniques.
Knowledge of the Eurofins Environment Testing Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP).
Basic knowledge of laboratory LIMS.
Customer-service and client-relations experience, including negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Computer proficiency with routine software, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Set up projects and create bottle orders.
Schedule couriers or field samplers when needed.
Confirm non-Eurofins subcontract laboratories are approved and set up as vendors for existing work.
Generate accounting software requisitions when sending subcontract samples.
Review sample log-ins, generate subcontract paperwork, and send client sample receipt confirmations.
Review draft invoices and confirm client information needed for invoicing is recorded in LIMS.
Create and issue final reports by client due dates and issue final data packages.
Complete state reporting forms and submissions, upload data, and compile case narratives.
Review final invoices before issuing them to clients.
Generate credit or debit memos as needed, submit them for approval, send approved memos to clients when needed, and submit revised invoices.
Provide client service, communicate project status, follow up with clients, and help resolve client problems.
