About The Position

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Central in Huntsville, Texas, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support project management staff. The role coordinates project setup, sample tracking, client communications, reporting, and invoicing to help ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent client service. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates living within commuting distance of Huntsville, Texas, are encouraged to apply. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills with routine software applications, including Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Proven client service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• One to three years of business experience.
• Bench chemist experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects and create bottle orders.
• Schedule couriers or field samplers when needed.
• Confirm non-Eurofins Environment Testing America subcontract laboratories are approved and set up as vendors for existing work.
• Review sample log-ins and subcontract paperwork.
• Send client sample-receipt confirmations and review draft invoices.
• Ensure client information needed for invoicing, such as purchase orders and project numbers, is recorded in LIMS.
• Create and issue final reports by client due dates.
• Issue final data packages and complete state reporting forms and submissions.
• Upload data and compile case narratives.
• Review final invoices before sending them to clients.
• Generate credit or debit memos as needed, submit them for approval, send approved memos to clients when needed, and submit revised invoices.
