About The Position

Eurofins Environment Testing in Parsippany, New Jersey, is hiring a full-time Service Center Supervisor to manage the service center and serve as a liaison between the laboratory and local clients. The role includes supervising the service center facility and personnel, including couriers and samplers, while delivering professional, client-first service. Approximately 70% of the position is spent in the field collecting water samples and 30% in the office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Parsippany, New Jersey. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour, depending on experience. The supervisor represents the local service center to clients, supports project planning and business development, and coordinates sample pickup, delivery, and shipping. The role also involves maintaining the facility, equipment and records; supporting laboratory capacity decisions; and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental health and safety policies. The position requires client service, supervisory, organizational, communication, and driving capabilities, as well as the ability to lift sample coolers weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Prior supervisory experience.
Experience working directly with customers, serving as a trusted point of contact, resolving concerns, and representing a company professionally.
Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
Ability to follow complex instructions, manage multiple details and changing priorities, and meet daily commitments amid a varying workload.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read maps and follow directions, and to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Must live within commuting distance of Parsippany, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary local client representative for the service center.
Work with the Quality Assurance Manager and Account Executives to evaluate and establish project requirements for the service center area.
Handle client complaints professionally and resolve them in a timely manner.
Maintain vehicle maintenance and mileage records and submit them monthly.
Supervise service center couriers; schedule pickups and deliveries; prepare bottle orders; and ship samples to the designated laboratory for analysis.
Work with laboratory management on laboratory capacity-loading decisions.
Maintain the service center facilities and oversee compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing environmental health and safety policies at the service center.
Provide general sales support to Account Executives for field-based business development activities.
Order service center supplies, including bottles and coolers.
Maintain knowledge of method requirements, holding times, and bottle requirements to assist clients with project needs.
Maintain knowledge of Eurofins Environment Testing laboratories to help place projects in the laboratory best suited to client needs.
Build local relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
Visit clients independently or with local sales staff.
Provide courier services as needed to support local client needs.
Supervise a geographically dispersed team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
