Aspire Living & Learning is looking for an Assistant Program Manager supports the Program Manager in the daily operation and oversight of, a residential program funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS) and providing support to adults with disabilities. This role serves as an important bridge between direct care staff and program leadership by ensuring high-quality, person-centered services, regulatory compliance, and effective team coordination. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Assistant Program Manager is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, staff guidance, and administrative support while helping to ensure that individuals supported receive care that promotes dignity, independence, and community inclusion in accordance with all state, federal, and agency requirements. Below outlines key aspects of the roles and responsibilities this position holds:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in IDD services, preferable in a residential setting
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, administrative and communication skills
  • Knowledge of funding agency regulations/requirements preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have demonstrated computer literacy
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide on-call support
  • Must have satisfactory background checks, may be required to be a signer on financial accounts
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsibilities
