About The Position

Join our brand-new, beautiful facility at StoryPoint Ankeny as an Assistant Program Manager! This role is open to Physical Therapists (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and offers weekday hours of 30-32 per week in an Independent Living/Assisted Living setting. As part of a growing community and an employee-owned team, you will make a real impact every day. New graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are provided.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Hold a valid or pending state license (for new graduates).
  • Acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Symbria Rehab therapy staff and therapy activities in the community.
  • Coordinate therapy services with the nursing department and report information presented at interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Monitor staff productivity and staffing requirements per patient caseload.
  • Ensure program compliance with the requirements of regulation agencies.
  • Collect statistical data to monitor services utilization.
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing activities in conjunction with community staff to promote awareness of Symbria Rehab Therapy Services Department within the community.
  • Monitor outcomes of the rehabilitation program.
  • Adhere to Symbria Rehab’s mission, Code of Conduct, and policies and procedures.
  • Able to self-direct his/her functions.
  • Any and all duties as assigned.
