The Center for Youth is dedicated to partnering with young people to help them reach their full potential by creating opportunities, removing barriers, and promoting social justice. The organization values diversity and inclusivity. The Counseling and Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Department offers a range of services to vulnerable youth, including crisis nurseries, a shelter, housing programs, a food pantry, street outreach, and support for victims of commercial sexual exploitation. The Transitional Living Program (TLP) Assistant Manager is a full-time, 12-month position involving weekend, evening, and holiday shifts. The TLP operates in both a group living environment (Arnett House) and an apartment model (Devonshire). The Assistant Manager supports program staff in building trusting relationships with youth, using a strengths-based approach to identify needs and concerns. The primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment, helping youth develop independent living skills and address the root causes of their homelessness to achieve stable housing. The Assistant Program Manager assists the TLP Manager in overseeing operations and programming, including staff supervision and training, administrative tasks, life skills training, and direct client care.
