Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with three years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, electronic health records, and documentation systems required.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must have a vehicle available to conduct organization business.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma histories, and other barriers to independent living while supporting recovery, self-determination, and community integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OMH regulations, Medicaid documentation requirements, rehabilitative residential services, incident management, and residential program operations preferred.

  • Provide effective staff supervision and coaching.
  • Exercise sound judgment.
  • Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be reachable by phone.
  • Conduct organization business via vehicle.
  • Travel throughout the surrounding area.
