About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Program Director to join their team in Pottsville, PA. This role involves developing a collaborative work environment, fostering employee engagement and decision-making, providing guidance and feedback to staff, ensuring compliance with state, local, federal, and payor requirements, overseeing the program's profit and loss, managing daily operations, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and overseeing recruitment and onboarding. The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a recovery-oriented program supporting individuals with mental illness and intellectual disabilities through a community-based model, delivering integrated mental health treatment, service coordination, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field.
• Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
• Two years in a mental health setting.
• Two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least two years of program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing and demonstrating a collaborative work environment in support of Merakey’s Core Values.
• Creating a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
• Providing ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements, as well as requirements from payors.
• Overseeing the profit and loss for the program and managing daily operations.
• Maintaining productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
• Overseeing recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.
