The Assistant Program Director (APD) reports to the Program Director and is a part of the management structure. The APD is responsible for the overall and day-to-day operation, administration, and evaluation of the program, as well as the general welfare of the members and staff. The Assistant Program Director oversees all aspects of the Program in the absence of the Program Director. This role functions as a senior clinician or "player coach" for the team, providing direct service to members and their families while ensuring the team operates optimally to meet community support and rehabilitation needs, adhering to commercial insurance standards and the agency's mission. The position requires monitoring paperwork, maintaining case record quality, overseeing program finances and expenditures within budget, and coordinating with other Thresholds programs. The APD also assists with special projects, manages program physical locations, and ensures staff and member safety. They participate in emergency plans, crisis intervention, and maintain organized, confidential records. The role involves representing Thresholds in the community and performing other duties as assigned.
