About The Position

Alachua Academy is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving moderate risk females youth aged 12 to 18 who require behavioral/mental health and substance abuse services. The programs utilize evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while at the program. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements

Possess a BA/BS in a related field.
Four years of related experience in residential facility management.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
Must be able to meet the requirements of an ROP-eligible driver, including having a valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

A master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees residential services and living units.
Serves as the Program Director in his/her absence.
Manages all available resources in a manner that provides the students with the highest level of care.
Ensures the Rite of Passage program is being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements.
Supervises the Shift Supervisors and direct care staff.
