Assistant Program Director of Group Living
About The Position
Ft. Myers Academy (FMYA) is located in Fort Myers, Florida. We are a moderate risk, all-female program, contracted through the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which offers comprehensive care and treatment, specializing in evidence-based intensive mental health services. The academy is dedicated to providing high-quality care in a serene and supportive environment, designed to promote healing and recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practices, Ft. Myers Academy ensures that each client receives personalized, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.
Requirements
- Possess a BA/BS in related field.
- Four years of related experience in residential facility management.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
- Must be able to meet the requirements of an ROP-eligible driver, including having a valid Driver’s License.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversees residential services and living units.
- Serves as the Program Director in his/her absence.
- Manages all available resources in a manner that provides the students with the highest level of care.
- Ensures the Rite of Passage program is being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local licensing requirements.
- Supervises the Shift Supervisors and direct care staff.
