About The Position

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Finance, Real Estate, and Law (FRL). Cal Poly Pomona is a polytechnic university known for its integrative experiential learning education and its 'learn-by-doing' approach. Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field at the time of appointment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence.
  • Demonstrated potential to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Demonstrated potential to contribute to the excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and/or service.

  • Evidence of developing and/or advising student-focused experiential learning activities.
  • Expertise in real estate.
  • Expertise in finance.
  • Previous peer-reviewed journal publications in Real Estate and Finance.
  • Teaching experience at the university level.

Responsibilities
