About The Position

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Agronomy and Horticulture, Crop Science, Plant Science, Soil Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agroecology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated potential in applied research, evidenced by publications, presentations, or dissertation in agriculture, crop science, soil science, or related subjects.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in horticulture, crop science, vegetable production, and related topics.
  • Conduct research concerning horticultural food production systems with a focus on urban and urbanizing environments and communities.
  • Support university extension efforts through collaboration with community stakeholders.
