About The Position

The Ohio State University's Department of Horticulture and Crop Science, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, is seeking an Assistant Professor in Wooster, Ohio. Requirements

• Ph.D. in Agronomy and Horticulture, Crop Science, Plant Science, Soil Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agroecology, or related field.
• Demonstrated potential in applied research, evidenced by publications, presentations, or dissertation in agriculture, crop science, soil science, or related subjects.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in horticulture, crop science, vegetable production, and related topics.
• Conduct research concerning horticultural food production systems with a focus on urban and urbanizing environments and communities.
• Support university extension efforts through collaboration with community stakeholders.
• Provide service to the university, college, and profession.
