About The Position

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has a unique combination of education, research, and clinical programs that encourages and supports teamwork and diversity. This position is based at the Baptist Health / UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program, North Little Rock / Lonoke. The faculty member will serve as a primary care physician with the Baptist Health – UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program. The clinical role will include direct patient care and teaching and precepting medical students and Baptist Health – UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program residents.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Arkansas medical license
  • DEA certificate
  • Board certification
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Associate Program Director for the program.
  • Participate in departmental activities, including conferences, meetings, and educational activities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects with other members of the faculty.
  • Time and effort allocations will be determined annually or as assignments change.
