The Department of Nursing invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor starting Fall 2026. Teaching responsibilities may include classroom and clinical instruction in the Pre-Licensure BSN Program in pediatric nursing. Other responsibilities include academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; committee assignments; and active engagement in scholarly activities. Teaching, research, and service responsibility are negotiable and dependent on the candidate’s area of expertise and the needs of the program. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance students’ critical thinking, and the College’s support of interdisciplinary program of study. Candidates interviewing on campus must have unofficial transcript (UG & G) forwarded to the Director of the School of Nursing by their degree-granting institutions prior to the interview on campus.
