About The Position

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Louisville welcomes applications for a one year non-tenure track teaching position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 1, 2026. The position is renewable depending on performance and staffing requirements. Job responsibilities will include teaching both online and in person. Classes will include large lectures at the general education level, courses for prospective elementary and middle grades teachers, and occasional evening courses. Regular participation in departmental service activities and meetings is expected.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree or its equivalent in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
  • Experience teaching at the college level is required.
