About The Position

Baylor Law School is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor, Tenure Track, in Law, specializing in Trusts and Estates. The primary teaching responsibilities will focus on upper-level courses such as trusts and estates, wealth transfers, estate planning, marital property, and estate administration, based on curricular needs and the applicant's expertise. Research responsibilities include developing and executing a research agenda in the individual’s area of expertise. The Faculty Appointments Committee is also interested in candidates with expertise in other transactional practice areas. This is a renewable, full-time, benefits-eligible, tenure-track position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2027. Requirements

Must possess an earned Juris Doctor.
Evidence of impressive academic performance in law school, such as a noteworthy ranking or GPA, earned law review membership and involvement, or other law school honors (e.g., Order of the Coif membership).

Experience as a practicing attorney in any field.

Responsibilities
