About The Position

St. John's University, established in 1870, is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science within the Peter J. Tobin College of Business. This position, starting Fall 2027, includes the William L. Munson Endowed Chair in Risk Management, which provides dedicated research funding and an additional stipend. The university is looking for expertise in AI and technology to shape curriculum and train students in AI-driven strategy. Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance or a related field.
  • Expertise in AI applications to insurance and risk management.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technology.

  • Experience teaching using modalities such as face-to-face, online, or hybrid.
