The Construction and Technical Programs (CTP) department at Santa Fe College (SF) provides a wide range of opportunities to enhance current employment and to provide a career ladder for advancement. Using a hands-on approach to learning, these programs prepare individuals for initial employment in a wide range of industrial occupations. The department is currently seeking a full-time nine (9)-month Assistant Professor to promote and encourage student success in Plumbing Technology through quality instruction and real-world learning experiences beginning Fall 2026. Under general supervision, the Assistant Professor will develop, prepare, and teach a variety of coursework in Plumbing Technology. This position will be housed primarily at the Northwest Campus but may be assigned to one of the College’s six locations throughout Alachua and Bradford counties. Candidates must have the flexibility to teach courses during the day, evening, or online, as well as taught using other distance learning formats. This position has a 9-month contract based on teaching 15 credit hours in the Fall and 15 credit hours in the Spring. Summer instructional opportunities may be available for additional compensation based upon departmental need. This position’s starting salary is $50,303 annually. Any salary amount above this is commensurate upon an individual’s qualifications.
