The Plumbing Assistant inspects company-provided calls for servicing preexisting equipment and installing new equipment. This is a manual role assisting a Plumbing Technician in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing for both residential and commercial properties. The work involves performing skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing fixtures and equipment. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently unless a helper is needed.

Requirements

Residential plumbing service and installation experience for at least 1 year
Strong finger and manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixtures
Detail-oriented, organized and proficient
Willing to work in all types of weather
Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work
Must have basic tools
Valid Driver’s license and good driving record
Enters crawl spaces and other confined areas

Responsibilities

Travel to a customer’s home on a pre-set appointment.
Build rapport with homeowners and professionally represent the Company.
Exhibit clear communication skills during homeowner interactions.
Must be available to work at 7am, and work until manager/dispatcher dismisses you for the day.
Some weekend and evenings being on call is required.
Installing our products and services under the supervision of trained professionals
Installation, Maintenance, and repair of plumbing for both residential/commercial
Weekly meeting at the shop.

Ability to grind it out every day knowing that hard work is rewarded
Regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
Loads and delivering materials to work site
Performs set up and clean up tasks at the work site
