About The Position
The Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sports Management to begin in August 2027. This position is part of the Department of Marketing and Sports Management within the College of Business and Engineering. The Sidhu School holds AACSB International accreditation. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, maintaining scholarly research, contributing to departmental and university service, and mentoring students. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Sports Management or a closely related field.
- ABD candidates will be considered, but the Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as sports analytics, sports finance, sports psychology, sports law, and other sports-related subjects.
- Maintain an active scholarly agenda.
- Provide service to the department, school, university, profession, and community.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students in the Sports Management program.
- Supervise internships, field experiences, and related student research.
