About The Position

Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2026. Candidates for a tenure-track appointment should show evidence of a demonstrated ability both to excel in teaching and to develop an active research program, preferably involving undergraduates.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Religious Studies or a closely related field.
  • All-but-dissertation ( ABD ) candidates will be considered, but a Ph.D. must be completed by the start date.
  • Candidates for a tenure-track appointment should show evidence of a demonstrated ability both to excel in teaching and to develop an active research program, preferably involving undergraduates.
