FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Poultry Science/Poultry Production. JOB SUMMARY The College of Agriculture, Family Sciences and Technology (CAFST) seeks an energetic and student-focused faculty member with expertise in Poultry Science/Poultry Production for a 12-month, Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a robust independent research program in poultry science and poultry production including collaboration with poultry producers and Cooperative Extension agents at FVSU. As part of CAFST's commitment to developing and strengthening poultry science programs, the university has invested in new teaching and research infrastructure to support program development. The successful candidate will also have access to start-up funds contingent upon submission of a competitive research plan.
