Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Term) Division of Endocrinology
About The Position
The University of Louisville School of Medicine, affiliated with Norton Children’s Endocrinology, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant level in pediatric endocrinology. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive endocrinology and diabetes services. The team includes pediatric and internal medicine-pediatric endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, diabetes educators, psychologists, sports physiologists, social workers, and child life specialists. It provides outpatient, telehealth, and hospital care, and is involved in training medical students, residents, and pediatric endocrinology fellows. Team members may also participate in translational and clinical research supported by pediatric endocrinology research staff and the Norton Children’s Research Institute. The faculty member will provide patient care, teaching, and support for clinical research, as well as endocrinology and diabetes care for outpatient, telehealth, and hospital patients and families. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

- Competence in patient care and teaching.
- Interest in supporting clinical research.
