Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (term) Division of Neonatology
About The Position
The University of Louisville is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neonatologist to join the Division of Neonatal Medicine. The Division provides neonatal care at Norton Children’s Hospital, the University of Louisville Hospital, and several satellite hospitals within and outside the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan statistical area. Norton Children’s Hospital has a Level 4 NICU, and the Division supports a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship training program. Alongside clinical duties, the candidate is expected to teach medical students and pediatric trainees, including fellows. The candidate will join University of Louisville faculty, with support from specialists and subspecialists and a team-based approach to managing complex patients.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology.
Responsibilities
- Provide neonatal care at Norton Children’s Hospital, the University of Louisville Hospital, and satellite hospitals.
- Teach medical students and pediatric trainees, including fellows.
- Participate in team-based management of complex patients.
