The Saint Vincent College Department of Nursing is seeking a full-time faculty member with expertise in Medical-Surgical Nursing. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the department through high-quality teaching, student mentorship, curriculum development, and scholarly engagement. This role is ideal for a nurse educator who is passionate about preparing the next generation of professional nurses and advancing excellence in medical-surgical practice. This position will be pivotal in the ongoing development and implementation of the nursing program. The faculty member will work closely with other faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure compliance with the Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education and accreditation standards in the delivery of baccalaureate and master’s level education, support of grant-funded projects, and advance the mission and strategic goals of the nursing program and Saint Vincent College. The faculty member will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Nursing and lead a coordinated, data-driven NCLEX success strategy by overseeing ATI integration, standardizing testing and remediation processes, training faculty, and delivering targeted NCLEX preparation. This is a 12-month position with faculty rank appropriate for qualifications and previous experience that maintains teaching responsibilities each semester through the calendar year. Candidates with a doctoral degree are eligible for a tenure-track appointment.
