About The Position

The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management (tenure-track). DU is a highly-ranked R1 Doctoral/Research University with a strong business college known for its educational experiences, outreach, and knowledge creation. The Management Department offers undergraduate and graduate programs and is seeking faculty interested in research and teaching related to the emerging digital economy. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for research, teaching, and service, with a preference for candidates interested in digital innovation, digital transformation, AI value creation, digital strategy and leadership, and digital entrepreneurship. Teaching will involve undergraduate and graduate courses across traditional, hybrid, and online formats, potentially including day, night, and weekend classes. The role requires conducting and publishing high-quality research and active participation in the department and college.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in management or closely related field from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited school. ABD will be considered.
  • Demonstrated potential for strong performance in teaching, research, and service.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Maintenance of AACSB Scholarly Academic qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and publish high-quality research.
  • Teach six courses throughout the academic year (fall, winter, and spring quarters).
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses using traditional, hybrid, and online delivery methods.
  • Participate in the academic life of the Department of Management and the Daniels College of Business.
  • Attend faculty meetings.
  • Participate in assurance of learning.
  • Engage in curriculum development.
  • Participate in scholarly activities such as research symposia.
  • Demonstrate significant involvement with students.
