About The Position

The Management & Organizations Area at Michigan Ross invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position, beginning in September 2027. We are excited to welcome a new colleague to our diverse community of scholars who share a passion for studying organizations. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests lie in organizational theory or macro organizational behavior. We welcome applicants from business schools and related disciplines (e.g., sociology). Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong research record or potential, a deep commitment to the study of organizations, and an eagerness to contribute to our collaborative culture and mentor doctoral students.

Requirements

• Earned a doctorate by July 1, 2027.
• Demonstrate the ability and commitment to conduct high-quality scholarly research.
• Demonstrate the ability and commitment to excel in the classroom.

Nice To Haves

• Research and teaching interests in organizational theory or macro organizational behavior.

Responsibilities
