About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is seeking candidates for a full-time appointment in Finance. The rank and track status (appointment or tenure) will be determined by the successful candidate's credentials. The position is expected to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for a 4/4 teaching load, covering both introductory and advanced Finance courses, and potentially courses in related fields. In addition to teaching, the role involves maintaining an active professional development/research agenda, participating in division and university service, and advising/mentoring students. Preference will be given to candidates available to teach both day and evening classes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching on the undergraduate level.
- ABD with a clear completion timeline will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Terminal degree and/or certification in Finance, accounting, or economics.
- Availability to teach day and evening classes.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory- and advanced-level courses in Finance, and possibly a related field (4/4 teaching load).
