Assistant Professor of Engineering
About The Position
The Department of Physics and Engineering at Washington and Lee University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in engineering. This new position, starting July 2027, is aimed at supporting the ABET accreditation process for the university's engineering program. The successful candidate will teach a range of courses, from introductory first-year classes to sophomore and junior level courses and labs, as well as upper-level electives in their area of expertise. A key aspect of the role involves mentoring undergraduate students in research, with the specific research area being open. Requirements
- Ph.D. in a field of engineering by the time of appointment.
