About The Position
The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Engineering position, with a start date of August 2027.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Engineering or closely related field required.
- Conditional appointments may be considered at the rank of Instructor for applicants who have completed their graduate course work, but have not completed the doctoral degree at the time of hiring.

Responsibilities
- Classroom and lab teaching assignments in engineering and manufacturing engineering technology courses, as well as freshman engineering courses.
- Direct student design projects.
- Have a research agenda that leads to scholarly works and the engagement of undergraduate students.
