About The Position

California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Requirements

Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited university by the date of appointment.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.
Evidence of ongoing scholarly research in the applicant’s area of expertise, including publishing peer-reviewed articles.
Demonstrated commitment to the IEEE code of ethics.
Pass a background check.
Sign a release form authorizing the release of information by current and/or former employers to the CSU concerning any substantiated allegations of misconduct (for finalists).
Provide an official transcript for the highest degree before the on-campus interview (for finalists).
Provide the names and contact information for at least three individuals that can serve as references (for finalists).

Specialization in Control Systems, Robotics, Analog and Digital Electronics, RF Electronics, Communications, Signal Processing, and Power Engineering.

Responsibilities

Teach both introductory and advanced courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Assist in curriculum development.
Advise students.
Serve on department, college, and university committees.
Engage in professional activities.
Establish a research program that involves both undergraduate and graduate students.
Make a presentation of research and an additional teaching demonstration to faculty as a finalist.
