The Diagnostic Services Department within the College of Health Professions at The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. The earliest start date for this position is August 11, 2026. An individual with a master’s or bachelor’s degree and relevant experience will be considered for a non-tenure track appointment at the rank of instructor. The ideal candidate will have a Doctoral degree in a relevant field. The applicant will be certified as a Sonographer with appropriate licensure and certification and have relevant clinical experience. Experience in supervising/teaching, and scholarship are preferred. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a passion for the profession and a vision for professional education, experience with accreditation, and a record of professional activity. Strong communication skills and a desire to work with students in a setting that prides itself on providing close relationships between students and faculty are expected. Candidates must be committed to student-centered education and able to travel large distances for off campus site visits. The faculty member will be expected to be actively involved in teaching, advising, departmental, university-wide, and community service.
