Idaho State University (ISU) is seeking to fill two 9-month assistant professor faculty positions within its new PsyD program, commencing in Fall 2027. These positions are housed within the Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences. ISU's Department of Psychology already offers a BS and a BA in psychology, a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis, a PhD in Psychological Science, and an APA-accredited PhD in Clinical Psychology (scientist-practitioner model). The new PsyD in Clinical Psychology will be located on the ISU Meridian campus. Applicants must possess a degree from an accredited clinical psychology (or closely related discipline) doctoral program and be license-eligible in the State of Idaho. As core members of the department’s PsyD Clinical Training Committee, these faculty members will be responsible for teaching graduate classes, providing clinical supervision, performing service activities, and mentoring students within the program. Competitive candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision of graduate students. Clinical expertise with an integrated behavioral health and/or telehealth focus is considered a plus. These positions can be filled as either tenure-track or not tenure-track, depending on the applicant's interests. Tenure-track positions will include a research component, while non-tenure-track positions will have a larger teaching component. Please note that these positions are not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time; however, candidates with existing valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.
