About The Position

This position’s teaching load will comprise a combination of studio lessons, courses, and/or ensembles that equates to a 2+2 load. The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of accomplishment in cello performance, classroom and/or ensemble instruction, and forward-thinking research areas that complement a department and campus of diverse interests.

Requirements

• Record of accomplishment in cello performance
• Record of accomplishment in classroom and/or ensemble instruction
• Record of accomplishment in forward-thinking research areas that complement a department and campus of diverse interests

Nice To Haves

• DMA or PhD in cello performance
• At least two years of classroom teaching experience at a university level
• Work aligns with departmental mission
