Requirements

  • MD or PhD degree and have a demonstrable record of accomplishments, peer-reviewed publications and extramural funding in related research.
  • Experience in microbiome science.

Nice To Haves

  • Postdoctoral Training required.

Responsibilities

  • Study how the microbiome can impact cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses and treatment outcomes in these illnesses.
  • Generate hypotheses based on patient biospecimens and preclinical models.
  • Increase our understanding of how microbes can shape health and disease via effects on host cells and tissues.
  • Identify and evaluate strategies to introduce, target or modulate microbes to potentially prevent or benefit these illnesses, improve response rates, or reduce toxicities.
