About The Position

This position involves developing and maintaining courses for all three DPT programs, both online and face-to-face. The role also includes participating in service activities such as committees within the School of Health Professions (SHP), the university, and professional organizations, as well as community service. Advising students is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Academic doctorate (i.e. PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.) in physical therapy or related field
• Licensed PT in the U. S.
• Eligible to be licensed in Texas

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a clinical specialist with expertise in integumentary rehabilitation and/or orthotics and prosthetics (O&P)
• Two or more years of teaching experience in DPT programs or related fields
• Established expertise in teaching and learning in online environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain courses, including online as well as face-to-face courses as assigned in all three DPT programs
• Participate in service activities including SHP, university, and professional committees as well as community service
• Advise students
