About The Position

The Department of Supply Chain Management in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management (SCM). This role involves research and teaching SCM at undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. levels. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a strong research program targeting leading SCM journals and demonstrate excellent teaching abilities. Effective communication with students, industry personnel, and the community is essential. This is a full-time, on-campus, in-person position.

Requirements

Earned doctorate in business administration, with a concentration in supply chain management, transportation, logistics, operations, or a related specialization, or expect to complete by 8/16/27.
Demonstrated ability to produce strong scholarly research.
Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates.
Meet the college’s standards to be Scholarly Academic qualified under AACSB standards.

Significant research in progress targeted at top SCM journals.
Work experience with professional responsibilities related to supply chain management.
