About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Healthcare Administration & Policy in the School of Public Health. This is a 9-month, non-tenure track position beginning Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. The applicant will carry a 4/4 teaching load and should be able to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the U.S. healthcare system, organizational management, and/or healthcare marketing. Service and community activities are also required.

Requirements

PhD degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
At least two years of teaching experience in related fields.
Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

Background in healthcare finance and accounting, healthcare payment systems, health information and technology systems, and/or change management.
