About The Position

The Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) at the University of Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor for a 9-month tenure-accruing position. This role will be 30% teaching within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and 70% research within the Florida Agricultural Experiment Station, based in the School of Forest Fisheries and Geomatics Sciences. The position focuses on developing a collaborative, internationally recognized, and externally funded research program in remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and visualization technologies for marine resource management. The faculty member will develop new methods for acquiring and analyzing geospatial information on aquatic resources using remote sensing and advanced statistical techniques.
