The Department of Chemistry at San José State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Chemistry to begin in August 2027. The position requires excellence in both research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Analytical and/or Physical chemistry, with flexibility to teach in other chemistry sub-disciplines being desirable. The candidate must be adept at adapting teaching methods to various learning environments and will be expected to develop a robust research program that involves undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students.
