About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seattle University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2027. We seek candidates with expertise in computer engineering, particularly areas such as VLSI, robotics hardware and control, and machine learning, as well as a strong interest in innovative and effective teaching practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students; an established record of research with enthusiasm for involving undergraduate students; an interest in pursuing external funding; and a genuine desire to contribute to the mission of Seattle University. Responsibilities will include teaching, including laboratory courses; maintaining an active research program that provides meaningful opportunities for undergraduate participation; and contributing service to the university.

Requirements

Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering or closely related field.
