About The Position

The Department of Psychology at McGill University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology. Requirements

Hold a PhD by August 1, 2027.
Be authorized to work in Canada.
Be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
Possess strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae.
Submit a statement of research (past, current, and future directions, no more than three pages).
Submit a statement of teaching (no more than 2 pages).
Submit a diversity, equity, and inclusion statement describing commitment to these principles through scholarship, teaching, mentoring, service, and engagement.
Provide copies of at least 3 representative publications.
Provide names and contact information of three referees for confidential letters of recommendation.

Responsibilities

Establish a record of significant, externally funded research.
Demonstrate excellence in teaching and supervision/mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Conduct research in all areas of social psychology, with particular interest in applicants who complement existing expertise in identity and social relations, or who use interdisciplinary and/or innovative technological approaches.
