About The Position

The Assistant Professor Clinical Practice, Pathology Faculty will primarily provide coverage in Anatomic Pathology, including signing out Surgical Pathology, covering Frozen Sections, and handling after-hours calls for Anatomic Pathology. Additionally, the role involves teaching residents, fellows, medical students, PAs, and PA students, attending and participating in departmental conferences, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology.
• Eligible for Texas Medical Licensure.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training or experience in Surgical Pathology or a related subspecialty of Anatomic Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Providing coverage in Anatomic Pathology, including signing out Surgical Pathology.
• Covering Frozen Sections.
• Providing after-hours call coverage for Anatomic Pathology.
